Really like this place. At first it seems a little pricey but then you receive a pretty large portion! I read some of the comments regarding spice. I like some spice so I ordered less spicy. It does have a bit of a kick but it was really good. Will continue to order from here!

Food was good - ham Smoked Ham Stir Fried With Soft Bean Curd 腊肉炒香干🌶️is basically bacon but not crispy. Mapo Tofu 麻婆豆腐🌶🥬 portion was very small, barely fed 2 servings, the takeout container was half full. Other restaurants fill it. I also specified less spicy but i was pretty spicy - i can handle heat but i ordered it mild for my kid.

Black sticky tofu with Black Stinky Tofu With Pork Intestine 臭豆腐烧肥肠🌶️ , the intestine smells very bad like it was rotten to begin with, the smell is not from the stinky tofu I can tell. Pork intestine also tasted sour and not cleaned properly... I think the intestine was just not cleaned well/fresh to begin with.

This restaurant has tasty food but they have a serious problem with spice level. I ordered a "mild spicy" Stir-Fried Beef with Wild Chili / 野山椒牛肉 and it is so hot that I couldn't eat much of it. It's just as hot as the bone in chicken with pickled chilis which is marked as "medium spicy", and let me tell ya... neither of them are medium spicy. I order "medium spicy" everywhere else, including at Indian, Thai and Chinese restaurants. But here I couldn't even tolerate this "mild spicy" dish.
If they would fix this problem, they would be my favorite Chinese restaurant, but right now I can barely tolerate their food.

The reviews warned me that things here trend spicy, so I got a mild Mapo Tofu / 麻婆豆腐 and non spicy Dry-Fried String Beans / 干煸四季豆. they were absolutely superb!! just the right amount of spicy numb goodness on the tofu and the green beans were delicious! will order again.
