Established in 2016 as a small homestyle Italian restaurant, we later moved to our current location in Acworth and expanded with a new location in downtown Calhoun in 2022.
This place is wonderful!!! We love the pizza. The Caesar salad is awesome. The garlic knots are fire!!! The marinara is divine. It's not expensive either. Try the pizza, yall!!!!!

Doros serves consistently excellent food. Tonight we ordered chicken Piccata and Chicken Marsala; both were outstanding. The seasoning was perfect and the chicken was moist & tender. Portions are generous and always arrive warm and ready to eat.

I don’t usually leave reviews. Ever.
But Doros Italian Restaurant earned this one.
I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and the Tiramisu, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best Italian food I’ve had in town. Not “pretty good.” Not “solid for the area.” I’m talking legit, next-level, where-you-pause-after-the-first-bite kind of good.
The Chicken Parm was perfect. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the sauce tasted like it was actually made with care, not poured out of a can. The cheese was melted just right, balanced, not drowning the plate. Every bite hit.
And the tiramisu? Unreal. Light, rich, and perfectly layered. Not overly sweet. Just smooth, balanced, and clearly made by someone who knows what they’re doing.
You can tell when a restaurant takes pride in what they put out. This place does. From flavor to portion size to presentation, everything felt intentional.
If you live anywhere near here and haven’t tried Doros yet, you’re missing out. I’ll absolutely be ordering again.
Respect where it’s due. This place deserves it.

Everything was delicious! I appreciated that they put the cold desserts in a separate bag from my hot pasta. So glad to be able to get good desserts somewhere in town! The pasta was hot and tasty. WAYYYY more than a single person could eat. There were three chicken breasts! Would be happy to order all of these items again.

This was my first time ordering from here and most definitely my last. The food was good don't get me wrong but the chicken tasted like a chicken patty used for sandwiches. If the prices was cheaper that would be ok. The size portion was pretty decent. The garlic knots was the best part of the meal. Could have used a little extra seasoning but they was very good
