My second time ordering from here and as far as I'm concerned, there are no longer any other fish and chip shops in the area. Arrived piping hot, flake was thick and juicy with the crispiest batter I've ever had. Potato cakes all different shapes which confirmed they are home made, absolutely delish, chips are on another level too. Everything amazing, best fish and chips I've had and I lived on the waterfront in Hobart! We are most definitely regulars from here on out!

down South is my first choice of top knotch fish n chips in Ballarat...Flake is always fresh. Food is never oily like othe places. Also good bang for your buck!

dimsims weren't cooked through.
Burger was mostly breadroll, took fourbites before hitting meat, tomato or cheese.
Chips were good though. salted well, cooked perfectly.
I would only order chips and potato cakes in future.
very expensive too.

both meals were nicely presented Seafood BoxFish & 1/2 chip pack fresh cooked, not greasy.
