I was really glad to see Driftwood on DoorDash this morning! I've been going here for years, and I've never had a bad experience. I got the 20oz Latte - Honey Lavender with Cold Foam - and it's a perfect blend of flavors and not overly sweet. For food, I chose the Bacon Egg and Cheese Burrito. The burrito and accompanying salsa were delicious, but for the size and basicness of what you get, the price is a little high at $13. $7 or $8 would be more aligned. Overall, I'm very happy with what I got.

I had to leave a review because I was genuinely excited to try this place. A friend of mine ordered from here a few days ago and shared her avocado toast with me, it was delicious. I immediately thought, “Yes, I’m ordering from here next.”
Fast forward to today… and I’m honestly disappointed.
The avocado toast I received was not the same at all. First off, I was given the end piece (the butt of the bread) which is just not appetizing. The bread itself was completely different from what my friend had, and the overall flavor was very weak. It lacked seasoning and didn’t have that fresh, vibrant taste I was expecting.
You can really tell when food is made with care—and this just wasn’t it. It felt rushed and inconsistent.
I also ordered a matcha, which I had tried before and loved… but today it was super bland. No depth, no flavor—just disappointing.
With how expensive food is these days, consistency and quality really matter. This experience just didn’t match the value or the expectations that were set the first time I tried it.
I really hope this was just an off day, but definitely not the experience I was expecting.
