The chicken fried steak special was a great value. However, I had a little challenge because there was no plastic utensils. I'm assuming most folks who order are taking it back to their house. It was a rough start but the food was wholesome and delicious. The koolaid drink and banana pudding sent me back to happy childhood memories! I will order from here again!

Been a while since I've ordered. The $5.95 banana was thin almost liquid. My grandchild nor I could eat the macaroni and cheese due to it being filled w salt. I really wanted to enjoy the $14.25 LG Side of Cornbread Dressing (ONLY) tasted so good just small serving really small serving as well a dap cranberry sauce. A Scoop and a little isn't worth the price. $21.42 Baked Chicken (Small leg and small thigh nicely seasoned) & Cornbread Dressing with Cabbage & salted Mac & cheese. The 2nd order $19.64 had Baked Chicken the same small leg and thigh with Mash Potatoe w gravy and salted mac & cheese. These prices are steep. $14.25 looked as $10.00 for side Dressing. $21.42 for my plate did not represent/justify. $19.64 Baked Chicken w Mash & mac & cheese was salted and didn't justify.
We were disappointed.

Man, some food just hits different, and Dâventures proves it every time. After ordering twice, I can say with confidenceâthey put love into every plate.
First off, them Deep-Fried Pork Chops? Straight fire. That cornmeal crust snaps when you bite in, giving way to juicy, seasoned-to-perfection pork. Ainât nothing basic about it.
Then the sides come correct. That cabbage got flavorâtender, seasoned like somebodyâs grandma made it. Mac and cheese, cheesy, never dry. And them sweet potatoes? My wife wonât let us order without âemâsmooth, buttery, and just right.
And the Kool-Aid? Perfect balance. Not that over-sweet mess, just right. A small touch that shows they really know what theyâre doing.
Ainât no âmaybeâ about itâwe ordering again. If you want soul food done right, D'ventures is the move.

Truly.The rice and gravy is a very small portion to be four dollars, and it really tastes like minute rice would not recommend that, but everything else was delicious
