Delicious!! I think this is the only place in Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill and Concord area that serves yellow feather steamed chicken served cold perfectly. Ginger-green onion sauce and soy sauce on the side were perfect match. I would highly recommend if you like Hinan chicken or Singapore chicken. This dish is simply good as cold appetizers too!

The only positive I can say is the won ton soup was very good. Lots of won tons, ample veggies and light broth that is fairly classic.
The Chinese Chicken salad was very disappointing. Lettuce, a few peanuts, fried chunks of chicken that sat on top. It came with mayonnaise, yes mayonnaise for the dressing, yuck. The Mushu pork was ok, but pancakes were all stuck together and there was no sauce provided. I spent a lot of money for a meal I could barely eat

Finally found a great Chinese restaurant for dry beef chow fun! East Ocean puts plenty of the rice noodles in their dish and the flavor is spot on -- my taste buds are doing a happy dance. So many other restaurants give you too much bean sprouts and not enough noodles. I have dined in at East Ocean previously and had the Peking Duck, fried calamari and other dishes. Everything I have tried so far has been excellent.

Everything way too expensive for what you get. Beef chow mein pedestrian over $20 for others I've gotten for about $15 but at least they gave bigger pieces instead of the minced little ones other restaurants have been giving though still not a whole lot.
Shrimp dumplings among worst I've ever tasted. Doughy wrap oversalted shrimp. Incredibly overpriced.
BBQ buns I didnt bother with because they sent wrong order. I wanted baked and they sent steamed. Tiny - increditbly overpriced

The ginger-green onion and soy sauce on the side are perfect condiments as well. If you like Hainan chicken and/or Singapore chicken, I would highly recommend. Just as a cold appetizer works too. Will definitely order again!
