• 9/15/24We had the Gbegiri & Ewedu and the Okra Sea food and they were both excellent! I have never had the Okra seafood dish but this will be the beginning of a great relationship with that dish. Wonderful flavor like a Nigerian Gumbo. I only wish I lived in Philadelphia so I could enjoyit more.

The Gbegiri & Ewedu was on point—taste, meat assortment… chef’s kiss. (Ibadan inastraite/Skye Bank amala spot level approved… if you know, you know. I’m not even going to get started on Lagos spots) The flavor of the stews, the consistency of the gbegiri and amala… hnmmmm... joyyyyy....all my senses were awakened. The assorted meat....everything about this was fantastic. The portions were good, and I already know what I’ll be ordering the next time I come to Philly.
However, the jollof rice was disappointing… My 12 yr old can make better in her sleep. It was undercooked (and I do not eat soft rice) and tasted like someone just threw some oil, red coloring, salt, and rice into a pot. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that the order was later in the day, because for a place that makes such amazing Gbegiri & Ewedu, and had great reviews for their Jollof rice, this must be an anomaly. When I visit Philly again, I’ll order it one more time to confirm.

• 1/29/25Here to say that they are very generous with their protein especially in the peppersoup and Asun. No skimping, they give you your money's worth and then some!

• 8/15/24The food isn't all that good. The first, time I ordered the plain egus with pounded yam was okay. My next, order was horrible. Ogbono was so nasty and the meat pie was just as worse. Plus, they lie on ordering apps of their business hours.

• 3/30/25The Jollof Rice is very salty. I was very hungry, but just couldnt bringmy myself to eat it. Meat was also hard and tough.
