Never thought I'd say this, but I actually like spam. I got a burrito with Spam & Egg Burrito today and it was delicious. I've tried the egg burrito with bulgogi before, but prefer the spam burrito. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE bulgogi - but in the burrito, the meat overwhelmed the taste of the eggs, and this is egg happiness, not bulgogi happiness. And I prefer that the meat complement the fluffy tender scrambled eggs, not overwhelm it. Full disclosure: I recently had Korean kimbap with Spam and was surprised at how much I liked it. I'm somewhat of a meat snob. I don't eat a lot of meat - I prefer veggies - and when I do eat meat, it's usually organic chicken or a good steak. So I never thought I'd be wanting to eat pork, let alone processed pork in a can, but here I am, ordering and enjoying - and recommending spam. Go figure.
I often get the tots too, although by the time my order is delivered, they're usually cold. The burritos and egg toast sandwiches get here warm, but the Tater Tots are often cold. Microwaving makes them stick together and I usually don't take the time to heat them in the oven. Don't want to risk the egg order getting cold while I do. Maybe Egg Happiness will consider packing them differently eg in something thermal for delivery orders? And/or cooking them after the eggs and adding them to the order last?
I also love the Yogovera Drink (Mango) drink. It has little pops of aloe pulp throughout that I really like. So refreshing. I wish I could get that everywhere! It seems much healthier than sweetened soft drinks made in the U.S. And it's delicious. Kudos to the Korean community for this brilliant conction.
The only thing I've ordered here that I don't recommend is the Vanilla Latte. It is far too milky with not enough coffee for my taste. And there's no option to order it stronger like you can at Starbucks by adding an extra shot, or with the Dalgona Whipped Coffee (Cold, 16oz or 20oz). If you could fix that, I'd appreciate it. I prefer having hot coffee in the morning, but there aren't many options for hot coffee drinks here.
Not sure if the staff reads these reviews, but I've ordered here many times, both on Door Dash and in person. Every time I do, I requested extra sauce. Today is the first time I think I actually got that. I could taste the difference today. My suggestion for an area for improvement would be to pay better attention to special requests.
Other than that, I love Egg Happiness and recommend them to anyone who, like me, loves to eat soft, delicious scrambled eggs.
