• 2/14/25The Shawarma Lamb Bowl was absolutely delicious and the Pistachio Baklava was sheer perfection. My mother was upset I didn't share any with her. The Falafel went well with the Black beans and White rice, but it was more filling than anticipated.

• 4/2/26The Chicken Shawarma is to die for. The chicken is so flavorful and just melts. Every bit of the chicken was covered in the best spices. The flatbread was soft with just enough chew to hold the filling. The sauce was a perfect balance of freshness, tang and bite from garlic. I love that the sandwich was topped with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. I would have liked another couple slices of tomato but that didn't make or break the sandwich. Now, the fries on the other hand, nothing spectacular. By the time the meal arrived, the fries were soggy. Unflavorful with no salt. I didn't care much because the Chicken Shawarma was what I wanted and it was a perfect portion. Maybe a different side would be nice? Keep with the middle eastern/ Mediterranean style.
The 10 pc wings were mediocre according to the family member who ordered it. The hot honey sauce was very spicy but very good. The wings certainly weren't bad by any means, they just weren't anything to write home about. I am glad El Chamo Arabe has something for everyone on their menu. However, I think ridding of the stuff that doesn't make sense for the restaurant and allowing customizations via DoorDash would be really great. My family members would have preferred something else like a schwarma or gyro, but they dislike sauces and have some food allergies. There wasn't a way to remove toppings unless indicated in special requests, which in my experience, is always overlooked.

• 6/14/26We were so excited to see a restaurant that serves some of our world favorites! Color me underwhelmed and over-charged. If you're going to be eclectic, then everything has to be good. Nothing was really good. The Tostones (3] were inedible as they couldn't even be chewed. The Arepa Pabellón was acceptable, but the price was more than double what it should have been. I would have loved to try the Pistachio Baklava, but sadly it didn't make it to us as it was left out (thanks Door Dash for a quick refund). The Tajadas (5) were meh with a bland taste and questionable texture. The Falafel was the highlight with a consistent texture and authentic seasoning. So many missed opportunities to hook us and keep us coming back. Whilst I love and miss a good Arabe, El Chamo will not be on our rotation going forward.

• 3/24/25I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and it was really delicious. It was fresh and packed with chicken. It came with fries and two sauces to dip or spread on the sandwich. I also got the baklava for dessert and it was lovely. I cant get food like this at home so I really enjoyed it.

• 7/27/25They Gyro Wrap and the Pistachio Baklava were excellent. the Yuca (5) was ok, but it advertises you get 5 and i received 4. the Tequeños (4) unfortunately were not delivered with the order so i cannot review them.
