My order was correct and delicious! I ordered from a different Birria truck a few hours ago, and my order was missing items, and the food was bad. Ordered from here because we still needed to eat, and for the same price, it was much better, correct, and larger portions. Eat here instead of Birria PDX

Had Birria, Steak, Chicken, and carnitas tacos. All delicious but my fav was the chicken. Also their queso is the bomb! Was disappointed in the guacamole though. Was decent (not great) and a tiny portion for $4.

Review: Amazing food, but the salsa downgrade hurts
The food here is still incredible. The birria and steak are consistently great, and that hasn’t changed at all. This place is still absolutely worth eating at because the main dishes are done right every time.
The problem is the salsa.
They have four salsas: avocado, habanero, red, and green. The avocado salsa is the only one that still tastes the way it used to — fresh, balanced, and actually enhancing the food.
The other three — habanero, red, and green — have completely fallen off since they switched them to those plastic packets. They taste sour, overly vinegary, and straight-up bad, like they’re old or over-preserved. It’s not a subtle difference either. These used to be some of the best salsas I’ve ever had anywhere, and now I avoid them entirely because they ruin bites of otherwise great food.
That’s what makes this so frustrating. The food is still top-tier, which just makes the salsa downgrade stand out even more. Switching from fresh cups to packets feels like an unnecessary corner cut that took away something that genuinely made this place special.
If they brought the habanero, red, and green salsas back in the small cups like before, this place would be close to perfect again. Until then, I’ll keep coming for the food — but only using the avocado salsa.

Food came fast! Salsa is in separate packs so no spilling. Carnitas was a bit
dry. Birria on the spicy side compared to others I've had. Delicious! The El El Jefe Special is PERFECT if you can't decide what you want or haven't had before! The Passion Fruit juice was also v tasty though expensive. thank you

Wow, incredible! Every single bite was full of flavor and was well worth the value . The birria was perfectly seasoned, not too salty and cooked perfectly. We would give this place way more than 5 stars if we could.
