• 5/21/24El Jefes is the best! Generous portions and real, authentic food. It's delicious and they don't charge more for toppings, like guac. Fully loaded for the same price... Chipotle or Moe's can't beat it!

• 4/21/26The people at El Jefes always do it right. Double protein actually means double protein. Ingredients always taste good. It's difficult to find someone willing to challenge themselves wrapping your monstrosity order. Somehow these guys always come through and make it happen. Thank you for being the last place in Boston serving excellent value at an attractive price.

• 5/2/25stopped by a taqueria in Boston and ordered this carnitas bowl—it was absolutely delicious and felt super fresh! The pulled pork was tender and flavorful, and the mix of shredded lettuce, cabbage, guacamole, and fresh pico de gallo made it both tasty and healthy. I loved how balanced it was—not too heavy, but still satisfying. Perfect for a quick lunch with a view by the window!

• 12/7/25Likely the last great bastion of high quality meets good value. For the price you can't beat the generous portions, fresh (and no charge) toppings. The plantains are a great touch! My go to for Mexican.

• 7/19/25This BURRITOS is hands down the best burrito I've had! It's flavorful, juicy, and well wrapped. The portion is filling and it'll last you for the whole day. All the ingredients are fresh and organic. I've ordered this twice already, and I'll definitely order again next time I'm in town.
