incredibly small portions for the cost and the flavor/quality of the ingredients didn't justify the cost.
queso blanco was ok, but not worthy of the 13 dollar price tag. The guacamole wasnt fresh and again not worth the money.

Truth be told, with a name like El Mejicano, I had a higher expectation of quality and portion size. I paid upwards of $20 for a plate of nachos with chicken. They piled on liquid cheese and the portion all around was about medium sized. At that price point I would have wanted REAL cheese and an amount of food that would justify such a high price. I will not be ordering from here again.

The food was great! My only complaint is you can't order a regular burrito on doordash (unless there's something I'm missing) - it appears you can only pick chimichanga style or no tortilla. I actually prefer them fried, but my hubby does not.
Regardless, this place is always good and the prices are very reasonable.

Love, Love, Love El Mejicano. The people are nice, the food is always delicious. We have yet to experience anything otherwise.
