• 4/12/26Very huge portions: what you would love an expect from a good Mexican restaurant. The Mercado Plate was absolutely a very fun and tasty spred of classic texmex fare, and if you're looking for some good ol fashion texmex variety that is the way to go. The unexpected standout to me though was the Quesadillas :they were Massive! They arrived incredibly soggy, likely due to the water run off from all the crema? and the steam of the packaging. but if you have a little patience, a few minutes of heating in an air fryer or pan frying on the stove perks them right up. for the price we got a MASSIVE stack (basically two seperately made Quesadillas piled all ontop of each other). i would absolutely order here just for those alone again and again.

• 3/4/25I used to love El Mercado but the quality has decreased dramatically as the prices increase. The soup is so small and isnt as good as when you order in store. Do NOT get the nachos extremely soggy with very little toppings.

• 7/28/22Everything looked delicious. Their portions are generous too. Also arrived with a free bag of chips! Packaging is great (especially the sealed containers for the hot charro beans).
I just couldn't eat the food. I didn't like any of it. I tried the enchiladas and flautas. I am a VERY picky eater and I feel bad for not enjoying it and leaving this review because you could tell they put a lot of love and effort into the food, packaging, and presentation..
I'm pretty sure most people would like it - but I am picky and I guess spoiled by other places like Chuy's, Lupe's, and Baby A's.
