I ordered this place on a whim, and I am so glad I did. I got the sour cream chicken enchiladas and the chips and salsa. The enchiladas were very flavorful inside and out. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The chips and salsa were fresh and genuine. Great price point, great flavor, and to top it all off, 3 different salsa/sauces were included in the order. Great place!

I’ve been coming to El Paisa for a while now, and I usually stick to their breakfast tacos—which are consistently great. That’s actually why this experience stood out so much.
This time I ordered the steak tacos, and it just didn’t hit the same. The order came out late, which isn’t the end of the world, but the quality felt noticeably off compared to what I’m used to. The meat was pretty stringy, and one taco had a huge chunk of onion in it—like the size of two half dollars—which kind of threw off the whole bite.
I also noticed the tacos are sort of pieced together between two tortillas, which makes them feel a bit cheaply assembled rather than intentional. On top of that, I was given lemon instead of lime, and that small detail actually made a bigger difference in flavor than you’d expect.
I might just be expecting too much based on how good their breakfast tacos usually are, but this visit didn’t match that standard. I’ll probably stick to what I know works there moving forward.

Honestly this is one of my new favorite Mexican restaurants! The chips are thick and crispy and the queso is creamy. Every entree I've gotten has always been delicious.
