• 11/27/24The food is always top notch from here. I don't think I've ever had a bad dish from this restaurant.
I made a mistake about a week ago and went to a different local Mexican restaurant. compared to Wlperian the foodfeom the other restaurant could not stack up.
I highly recommend this restaurant. My favorite dishes are Chicken Nachos, Tamales, Shrimp Chimichangas, and the Enchiladas. I also love their red salsa.

• 12/10/25The Chile verde was amazingly flavourful and tender. Tortillas were warm.35. 2 Chicken Tamales, Rice & Beans portion was great! enough food to feed two people! Also bought some Horchata 32oz and I have absolutely no complaints. My new go to spot!

• 12/23/22The Carnitas are absolutely delicious. This is one of best things I've eaten in Elizabeth City. I'm often down here for travel, so I've eaten at a wide variety of restaurants, and this is going to be a new go-to for me. If you haven't tried it, you need to. The dish consists of big chunks of pork which are *plastic* fork tender, along with some crispy little pieces spread throughout. It also includes lettuce, refried beans, avocado, sour cream (the normal sides for this type of dish). One night they also included a few hot and fresh tortillas which was greatly appreciated, but the second time they did not. They were missed, but I was still satisfied. The portions are huge for the price and they include chips and salsa for free! I cannot recommend this dish enough!

• 7/12/25This is my husband and I favorite restaurant out here and we've tried quite a few lol
My husband's favorite is the Burrito loco with how fresh and delicious everything tastes in it and the queso dip is outstanding that goes on top. One of my favorites is the Tamales, the taste is amazing from the meat inside to the corn masa on the outside with all the perfect seasonings and spices and the sauce. Delicious! Will definitely be ordering again soon!
