• 1/11/25This place is quite amazing! Food was fresh and REALLY GOOD! I ordered the steak taco dinner and they were packed with meat, no skimping on quantity or quality. The flautas de pollo were also tasty, thick and not thin like other places. But my personal fave is the enchiladas verde (green). The enchiladas were sauced perfectly and the verde is wonderful snd flavorful. I love when I find a place that has good salsa verde. The rice and beans were also very delicious and seasoned well. Btw I ordered at 9:30 on a Friday night and everything was perfect. Will definitely have this place at the top of my list.

• 4/16/22Hands down El Sol serves the best guacamole and chips in Highland Park! Always fresh, spiced perfectly,smooth and good. My steak quesadilla was so good, it melted in my mouth and cooked to my specifications.

• 4/21/24The food is yummy and the portions are great! The 16. Quesadilla de Res o Pollo was tasty but a little dry, so the salsas helped and the 65. Rice & Beans were delicious and filling!
