My mother and I enjoyed the food from El Torito last night. The enchiladas rancheras were quite tasty, although a bit expensive. I wanted to substitute regular black beans for the refried beans but was unable to. My mother had the three item combo including chili relleno and a chicken tamale, both of which I tasted; they were quite tasty. The price for her dinner was a pretty good value I think. I also bought some chips and salsa. The price was a bit high and the chips rather basic --- but you get a lot of chips, a medium tub of good salsa, and some guacamole! Totally worth the price; I recommend you get the chips and salsa with your meal. All in all, I was quite satisfied with our dinner. And the Dasher brought it promptly. I give our meal four stars because you can't make healthier substitutions; the price was a bit high; and it was very tasty but not outstanding. Still, I recommend this restaurant and I will definitely get DoorDash take out again.

Excellent portion of chips and really good salsa. The chips are warm and fresh, the best in the area.

The crunchy beef taco was good. The guacamole was unsalted & bland but the beef enchilada and cheese enchiladas were both too spicy. Servings are large and well priced.

The beans and/or rice have an odd "sour" smell to them. As if something is spoiled. The store did not seal the bag either. This place is going downhill fast.
