I LOVE Ellie's. The melon and shrimp salad is mind blowing. The pork butter is on another level. I have never left this place hungry. I love going to the Monday suppers because the service is great. I know Chef goes to the market every day to get the freshest ingredients. Definitely one of my repeatable places.

Gnocchi Lunghi: portion was too small for the price. Decent quality and flavor.
Brussels Sprouts: tasty, but also small portion for the cost.
Parker House Rolls: chili butter was not bad.
Nothing outstanding; not awful; overpriced.

I ordered the Tagliatelle with the pork ragu and was looking forward to it when it arrived. Unfortunately, it was inedible. It looked and smelled good but when it was cooked the cooks must have spilled an inordinate amount of black pepper in it. There was so much I could see it. I wont be ordering from this restaurant again.

Food not bad but portion size is SO small -- also paid extra for chicken and there is barely any in there. Also, didn't pack any nalinsor utensils.

Love dining in, but take out is an entirely different experience. Bland, small portions of added protein, with the exception of the Brussel sprouts - those were as delicious as eating there.
