It was a large portion of food but the meat was bad couldn't eat more than half because it was mushy and smelt bad. other than the meat it was really good.

I had a chance to meet the owner. He's a wonderful individual who is sharing Nigerian cuisine with the world.
The lounge and atmosphere are second to none. Give this place a chance and experience authentic African (West) cuisine.
I highly recommend you make an effort to visit the restaurant as it is an enhanced experience.
My only slight criticism is the pricing for the items but it is worth every bite, your Papilays will thank you.

I don’t recommend this place at all. I was genuinely happy to support an African-owned business, but what I received compared to what was advertised was ridiculous.
I ordered two portions of beef, fish with sauce, AND fish rolls on the side. The pictures show containers with good-sized portions of beef and sauce, and the fish with sauce is shown as a proper portion. Instead, they put the beef and fish together in ONE container and gave me literally TWO single pieces of beef and ONE single piece of fish. That’s it.
The fish rolls were a completely separate item. The menu literally says “fish rolls” — plural — and the picture shows multiple fish rolls. Yet I received ONE single fish roll.
I spent over $40 and received almost nothing compared to what was advertised. It genuinely feels like they’re trying to charge you as much as possible while giving you as little as possible.
