I moved to the city in 2022. Ive ordered from empanada mama at least 10 times a month. I love each and every one of their empanadas especially the viagra. Their meals are the best too. Especially the oxtail and rice. The empanadas are always nice and full and literally 2 is enough to satisfy you , but I'm big so I get like 4 empanadas. Love their restaurant and I truly recommend their food.

The skin on the chicharrones was not crunchy at all and they only gave 4 tostones for $17. The savory empanadas are always delicious but the Belgian & banana was not sweet. The bananas weren't ripe enough.

The Viagra Wheat was a little too sweet and needed a little more seasoning. The Brasil did not taste one piece of potatoe. I did however taste a piece of jalapeno but wasnt spicy. The jerk & Cheese was not tasty at all. One thing about them is they do fill your empanadas with the filling. They do not skip out on that part. The Homemade Passionfruit Juice was not fresh and you can taste the powder. Left a slight after taste in your mouth. The price is not bad at all for the size of the empanadas. Will have to try another location to see if it all depends on the location and how tasty the food is.
