No matter what we get, they NEVER disappoint. I'm partial to the Celia Cruz hot dog. Bring a fork, though. These aren't on-the-go hot dogs. We've never been disappointed by anything we ordered. The "Plate of Food" is exactly what it says. Could totally be shared (so you can get more empanadas and hot dogs).

The Chicharron de Pollo was excellent and priced right. I honestly don't think that they could sell it any cheaper.
The Battered Chicken Tenders, on the other hand, while very flavorful, were way too crispy, actually crunchy, would be a better description.
Which sounds really strange coming out of my mouth, because I like my battered and fried chicken as crispy as possible.
It was also very dried out and not juicy at all. The dipping sauce didn't even help.
So I let them sit in the to go container over night, thinking that I probably wouldn't finish them. However, that mellowed out the crunchiness and at least made them edible.
Maybe it's a preference thing, so if you happen to like your chicken extra, EXTRA crunchy, then I would say, go ahead and order them. Otherwise I would not
On the plus side, their prices were very reasonable. I actually made three meals out of the two orders so two thumbs up on that.
Overall, the experience was pleasant enough that I will order from them again but will steer clear of the fried Battered Chicken Tenders.
Perhaps I will try their empanadas since that is their specialty and all the reviews that I read, gave them 5 stars.

Oh. My. Gosh. Im obsessed. The Guava And Cream Cheese EmpanadaBBQ/Chicken Empanada/ Cheesy Mac and Cheese Empanada- the Tostones (Gluten Free) and sauce...so good. Im so glad ive discovered empanada nirvana!

Although DoorDash did not deliver my first order, Empanada Nirvana called me to ensure that my second order was not a mistake and did everything they could to make things right. The service and kindness of their employees speaks volumes. The food is also incredible! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent Puerto Rican cuisine! The variety of empanadas is absolutely incredible. You have to try it! We are blessed to have this restaurant in the area I live. The staff is professional and very friendly and make you feel like family. Give Empanada Nirvana a try, you won't be disappointed!
