This was my first time ordering Puerto Rican specific food (normally it's Mexican). This has to be the best Latin food I've had in this area by far. The Papas Locas / Fries were loaded with so much meat! Extremely good value for money! Even my fussy 9 year old loves her Beef Empanada Loca this will definitely be a regular family place to order from.

There was a place in Jamaica Plain called El Oriental de Cuba that had a great Cubano, but they closed a while back. Also, I don't live in Boston anymore. This Cubano hits that mark for me. Glad they're here, prices are great, and they're fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

This place makes good empandas, my personal favorite is the Pastelon: Beef, Cheese, Sweet Plantain but everything else on the menu is not that good. I've given this place a few chances & it disappoints majority of the time. Just take a look at the Mofongo opening the container to see that glob in a box was very disappointing especially with them charging $8 for it.

Empanellie’s is one of those places we keep coming back to because it never disappoints. We order the empanadas every time, and they’re consistently amazing. They are packed full of stuffing, super fresh, and always served hot. You can tell they don’t skimp on the filling, which makes them really satisfying instead of just doughy.
One of my favorite things about them is how well they reheat too. If you happen to have leftovers (which is rare), they are just as delicious the next day. Crispy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Highly recommend if you are an empanada fan!

we ordered a variety of empanadas and the Papas Locas / Fries with cilantro dressing. everything was above expectations, Rich flavors, good portions, really fresh balanced tastes. needless to say, will order again.
