My entire order was delicious. I ordered a slab of ribs, individual side of collard greens (although no one can cook collards better than me) they were ok, and two individual sides of potato salad. The ribs had a little crispy burnt on a couple bones just like I like mine and the meat was fall of the bones good. I'm originally from Memphis, TN and this is the best barbecue I've fallen in love with since moving here in 1985. Yes they changed owners a few years ago but they get it now.

I come all the way from Texas for this stuff. The sweet Slice Sweet Potato Pie KNOCKS MY FREAKING SOCKS OFF! I will always go out of the way for Matt's.
For me barbecue is only as good as its sides and this place is 10s across the board.
Fresh, quality, flavorful and rich. Fair prices. Decent portions. Just so good.

Their food is great!! Always seasoned well and ribs are always tender. They have bigger sides now. I got the Rib Sandwich with a side of Rum Baked Beans and Macaroni and Cheese. It is a little pricey but its worth the money.

Everything was good except the potato salad. I paid 3.45 for an individual portion to have potato salad in the same little container as the barbecue sauce. Literally 2-3 fork worth. Complete waste. I'm upset about the portion size of it, but I didn't like also... so kinda glad it was just a little bit. Ribs, chicken, macaroni and cheese and greens were great

the Half Slab was good but I had better in the past. I will never order the Coleslaw (Pint) (extremely overpriced at 10) and the Half Chicken was abysmal. it was overcooked, dry. it was if it was leftover and reheated. I don't recommend purchasing the last 2. save yourself the disappointment 😞.
