The red beans and Red Beans and Rice Bowl was absolutely disgusting. It tasted burnt and overcooked and the rice was crunchy. I was so disappointed and the cornbread that I paid 4 dollars for was a brick. So that meal could not be eaten. Then the hamburger steak dinner wasn't much better. The hamburger was sour tasting and the gravy was like jelly. My green beans were soggy mushy and the grilled potatoes were hard. I was so hoping that the food was going to be good but we were so disappointed and when I called to speak with a manager. I was told to call DoorDash and complain. I hope you were just having a bad day and that the food isn't always as horrible as ours was. But I wouldn't spend another dime to find out after what happened today. Owner please train your staff better.

The chicken fingers were actually orange on the inside from some kind of grease. It wasn't flavor or sauce, it was obvious they weren't really good quality. The fries were stale or cooked in old grease, it was hard to tell. The Brunswick stew had the right ingredients but definitely the wrong flavor. I grew up with amazing restaurant level (my great uncle founded 3 pigs barbecue and Honeys hot dogs) and this is a long way from anything like it.

First time ever eating at this place brisket was hot and fresh macaroni and cheese and green beans were hot and fresh and the loaded fries were actually really good with the ranch

fish was dry and the onion rings were under cooked and had no flavor. The mac n cheese was amazing.
