Love this spot!!!! Got the fish combo and there were generous portions, food was hot fresh sides. Macaroni and cheese was some of the best I've had. Kids had lemonade and French fries and loved them as well. New Favorite will be going here quite often.

This food was so good. I enjoyed every bit of everything I had on my plate. The portions was great I was able to eat off of it twice. The Gravy was flavorful and the turkey wings were so tender. I also loved the greens and yams, everything was so fresh, I will be ordering from them very often for sure....

The Catfish, Fried Okra, and Peach Lemonade was unbelievable!!! The freshness and flavor was unmatched. The portions were so big that I had enough to share and I still had left overs. The staff was friendly and I got a chance to meet the owner, Mike. He was really personable and customer oriented.
Everything was so great that I had him cater my son's graduation party. He catered food for 125 people. I ordered the Catfish, Smothered Turkey Wings, Fried Chicken wings, greens, yams, red beans and rice, and cornbread. ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE LOVED THE FOOD!!! The cost was worth all of the food and plan to use him again.

The Greens are soooooo delicious 😋 The catfish was soooooo fresh and seasoned to perfection 👌🏾11 out of 10!!! cornbread fire!! To go only...definitely worth the drive!! large portions as well!!

This is my 2nd visit since they opened since I was unimpressed initially with the taste of the food. My Mom wantes to give it a try so that's why I ordered again. With that being said, for someone who knows how to cook soul food, the flavors were lacking in the candied yams. I tasted a slight hint of nutmeg, cinnamon and lemon but not enough. Fortunately, I have these ingredients in my pantry, so I was able to doctor it up the 1st time and this time.The catfish was seasoned ok and was moist. The greens had a nice kick to it and the mac and cheese were ok. I would rate this meal 6/10. The cornbread was disappointed, tasted like undercooked Jiffy mix. On a positive note, it was edible, and I loved that it was hot when it arrived. If you are looking for Fixins level soul food, this isn't it, but if you have a taste for it and don't feel up to cooking it's a good substitute and they are local.
