• 2/9/24Everything was cooked to perfection and better than I expected!! I had to get a large cup of the amazing yellow sauce to go on everything! I received three skewers of the mixed kabobs (menu says two so, surprise!) and the mixed veggies are my favorite combo, broccoli and zucchini. I'm GF and there are so many things for me to choose from, Between the variety, deliciousness and reasonable prices, I can eat here all the time!!

• 9/22/25The Delish Salad is the best thing that I've tasted in a long time. The veggies were fresh and seasoned. The addition of the corn was a true chef's kiss. You really didn't need dressing. I will definitely order this again and again. I have never missed with this restaurant. The Pollo Saltado is always top-notch.The chicken is tender and well-seasoned. This restaurant was a true find.

• 11/11/25Just WOW! Ordered 1/2 Chicken (Dark Meat) with Two Sides with green beans and red skin potatoes. It came fast and hot. Chicken moist and falling off the bones. Green beans and potatoes perfect. What amazed me was how perfectly seasoned it all was. No salt or pepper needed. New fav!

• 9/7/24This place is soooo delicious!!!!! You get a ton of food for the price!!!! I hope this place continues to thrive here in Mechanicsville. If you haven't had Yucca fries dipped in the yellow sauce, you are missing out. If you have ever had Chicken Fiesta on Broad Street, you will love this place. Take it from me, IM FAT!!!!

• 5/17/26Didn't take photos of the food - took a photo of the sauces that I paid extra to order. We ordered 8 oz of each sauce so this allegedly was 16 oz of sauce. These are the tiny cups, so this is nowhere near 16 oz.
With that said, the food (besides the yucca, mentioned below, and the chicken skin being undercooked and rubbery vs a spot like Chicken Fiesta or Canasta's) was not badly cooked, but it was not well seasoned at all. Super bland. The yucca was particularly bad - no crispness, just hard and too dense.
Should not have trusted people's opinions on food who live in this area...I looked at Doordash and Google reviews which are very good for this spot. If this is getting 4-5 stars from you I really don't know how to help you...
