I've always loved fire house even back to the days when I was a sponsor on the air for them in Pensacola Florida… But I do have to say, if you want a genuine Philadelphia hoagie or cheesesteak, you got to go to Jersey Mike's. Unfortunately they're not available on my DoorDash. But the meatball subs are great at fire house!

Pretty chintzy on the filling of the firehouse steak and cheese… For the high price you would think I can get more meat and more cheese.
It tasted good however. The ends of the bread were crusty so you got a throw them away.
Mac & cheese was very good. The brownie was terrible. Dry and a little stale.

This place has to be the worst sandwich shop in existence...not sure if it's poor management, lazy employees, or just this chain's culture. Sandwiches look like they've been runover and are virtually flat, never have enough basic toppings like lettuce and onion, and they're drowned in sauce. I never expect it to look exactly like the pictures, but I do expect it to resemble something edible. Spend your money elsewhere...Jersey Mike's is far superior.

Meh. It was a steak and cheese but nowhere near a Philly cheesesteak. Meat was chopped way too small and totally dried out. Couldn't find the provolone cheese on the sandwich at all and same for the onions although I found a couple. I know everyone's chili is different but their firehouse chili left a little bit to be desired like chili that comes out of a can.
Jersey Mike's has much better cheesesteaks but unfortunately they're not on DoorDash.

This location is the worst in Wichita. I've ordered here 3 times and all 3 times have been missing the drinks and chips and our sandwich was wrong. Whether that was doordash or firehouse doesn't matter to me. Neither would reimburse me, and the owner at the maize location was kind of rude and basically insinuated that I was lying and wanted free food. We spent a lot of money there thru the last few years. Never again. We visit the one off taft and maple and they are speedy and friendly and never mess my order up!
