I have a few spots like Hook and a couple of others in my vicinity but I ALWAYS order from here for home and at work. They are VERY consistent and the value is what keeps me coming back. The ONLY issue I have and it's minor is that they need to separate the cole slaw from the hot foods because the slaw arrives just as hot as the chicken and that's not good but it's not a deal breaker. I'm ready to try the fish next and Hook's (Homewood/Fifth Ave) has the best catfish and I'm hoping Fish & Chicken Boss has better. I shall see next order.

This spot is absolutely the BEST in the area when it comes to wings. Haven't had their fish yet but will in the very near future. The ONLY thing that I didn't like is that the coleslaw comes packaged with the hot chicken and it should arrive cold. Next time I order from them, I'll request having the slaw packaged separately from the hot foods. Wings were fresh and very tasty and not overly salted. Definitely one of my favorite fried food spots in Pittsburgh and are priced perfectly, unlike Hooks who are very expensive.

Hands down the best hush puppies I've had since moving up north. Breading to fish ratio is a little high but the portions and pricing really can't be beat.
