Five Guys is my absolute go-to burger joint.
You order a "small" fry, and you end up with enough for two adults and a kid—all fried in peanut oil and perfectly indulgent. The cheeseburger has never let me down: two perfectly cooked patties stacked between soft, warm buns. And don't get me started on the toppings—you can load it up as much as you want for free! I get mine with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, jalapeños, ketchup, mustard, and mayo.
You truly get what you pay for: outstanding burgers and incredible fries. It might technically be fast food, but it eats like a Michelin-star spot in New York City. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My go to hamburger place use to be Silver Diner. The last 2 times were a disaster. I tried Cheescake Factory. It was overcooked. I tried another diner; it was burned and crispy. So we hoped the bad reviews were a fluke and tried 5 Guys. We haven't been to 5 Guys since before COVID and this would be a first through delivery. The hamburgers were much larger and better than we remember. Maybe this franchise is better. The fries are my new favorite. I have a relative who is a chef. He says peanut oil makes a difference. But their fries are actually cooked properly. I don't know if they twice fry them, but that's what it tastes like. Which is what they are supposed to do. We received our entire order and everything was super hot, except the sodas of course. The sodas are pretty overpriced; very few places don't rip you off on soda. The fries are also expensive. The small is a little cup, but the regular size is enormous, enough for 2 people or 2 days. I had my burger and then about a quarter of the small fries and usually at other places I can finish the whole thing. Our doordash delivery person was also excellent and super polite. We are super appreciative.

The cheeseburger was supposed to have caramelized onions and mushrooms. They were just warmed. I ordered it in a bowl so was counting on the veggies adding lots of flavor.
The small fries were abundant - but beyond greasy.
A shame.

The Cheeseburger was really delicious and exactly as I ordered. However, the grilled cheese was pretty disappointing, the cheese wasn't melted and was unappetizing,

Burger was delicious as well as the fries. Made fresh to order and delivered before anything got soggy. Will definitely be ordering from here again!
