They prepare a really good fish. I really enjoyed my catfish! and they offer another type of fish. The name escapes me, but I've had that one also, and it's truly tasty! not over seasoned and fresh tasting. I was given two really large pieces of catfish. I'll be back!! good job.

The best ribs I've had in this part of Philly. Generous portions for the price. Pork ribs were definitely on the chewier side with some "bite," but not undercooked to my taste. Had a lot of great bark and a bit of tasty char (seemingly finished on the grill). I may ask for sauce on the side next time as the rub and bark flavor was already so tasty that I wanted those to come through. Beef ribs were super tender and flavorful and rich. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked, not greasy at all, crisp and crunchy batter, but could have been slightly more flavorful. The chicken meat had a slightly odd aftertaste that could have been from brining/marinade or something, but it was a relatively minor flaw in an overall great set of dishes.

Mannnnn I'm in love with their food . The turkey wings are so tender and the ribs are immaculate !!! potato salad always fresh . It be tasting like it came from my grandmothers lol . The name of the restaurant really describes the food you can tell it's made with love. And they give you enough !!!!

I'm really smh, I didn't even think about taking pictures because we all were so hungry, everyone opened up and shared a little of this and that and before we realized that nothing was left except empty containers !!! The fried chicken and fish was AMAZING, and so was the turkey wings, coleslaw, greens, cabbage, potato salad, Mac and tuna salad, and the delicious baked beans !!!!!
Now we all got the Itis lol.... oh and those delicious corn muffins. 2 of us had to share our muffins with my sister because she didn't get one. We love, LOVE, LOVE.... Food From The Heart. !!!! And believe me, it's prepared from the HEART !!!

I got swai! That fish was soooo good and you got 2 nice pieces... I will def be back. Mac was good,but the greens were just okay to me( just because I don't perfer the sweetness). You get a nice amount of food for the cost.That being said, I would return and recommend!
