• 10/25/24love this little mom and son shop. everytime I go or order in 100% satisfied.
the beef is great. lamb is great. the chicken is great. the egusi and fufu is great. nothing on the menu is a flop, i HIGHLY recommend.
as far as I can tell its only the mom of the shop making most of the meals so thet adds tonthe homely feel of the shop by alot. you wont regret coming here. 5/5

• 7/12/25I absolutely love Yetty's Jollof Meal (Lunch Portion) with stew chicken and plantains!! You could never go wrong with that choice! I wanted to try something new, so I got Yetty's Suya Meal with jollof and cabbage (it is great too!). I love the flavor and seasoning of the beef, and I didn't think it was spicy, it was a good heat!! I have definitely found a new favorite place for dinner!!

• 3/22/26the stew/spinach part was delicious! 10/10. A bit on the sweet side but not overly so. Perfect flavor balance. Portion of stew could be more, but it is ok and filling. Good for lunch.
"Spicy" option came in a separate container to add as you please, loved that💖. Packaging was perfect and I truly appreciate the care taken.🙏🏾
My dissatisfaction that led to a thumbs down was the meat. It came with 2 hefty chunks of goat, so the meat portion was fair.
However one chunk, the biggest one, was so rough and hard that it was like chewing a brick, it was inedible. The smaller chunk was pretty tender and delicious though so I'm not quite sure what happened there? I just feel like I didn't get my money's worth when about half of it was inedible.
Would I recommend? Can't say yes or no tbh. I WILL say the flavor is great. BUT exercise discernment when you're deciding if you're willing to spend $30($28 with dash pass) on the potential for inedible meat and ok but not great portions.

• 1/25/25This was only my second time having any form of African cuisine and it did not disappoint!I got the Karanga Ngombe (Beef Stew) and the Beef Samosa and both were incredible. The samosa was packed with meat and so much flavor, I wish I would have ordered more honestly. The Karanga Ngombe was delicous, the beef was incredibly tender and flavorful and the meal left me pleasantly full.
I look forward to trying more of the menu!

• 10/24/24I love this little mom and son shop. The chicken is great. The beef is great. The egusi and fufu is great. My personal favorites is the Mchuzi Wa Kuku (Chicken Stew) but even when i have other cravings its always incredible. highly recommend.
as far as i can also the only/main chef seems to be the mother? so that makes this seem even more homestyle. again, highly highly recommend
