• 6 days agoI tried the following based off of a previous review on this page. My food arrived steaming hot with a 30 minute drive and packaged beautifully. The Coconut Shrimp 椰子虾 was just as delicious as described! I usually don't like things coconut flavored but this was so good that I didn't share it either! The chicken egg foo young was good and a lot of gravy. I look forward to trying a different variation. The Shao Mai was delicious and the sauce was good also. I ordered the Beef with String Beans just in case everything didn't turn out well but I didn't need it. It was still delicious because I've ordered it previously. The shrimp fried rice was delicious with large fresh shrimp and very generous portions. The Pot Stickers were alright. I didn't know they were deep fried not pan fried but they were still good. Overall everything was delicious and the review was excellent enough that I tried it myself. I will order from here again because the quality can't be beat.

• 10/14/26I have NEVER seen a restaurant take this much pride in its delivery presentation! From the reusable grocery bag to the reusable takeout containers with tightly sealed lids, everything was packaged with care. The rice containers were practically bulging at the seams, and even the soups were securely packaged. Despite being a longer delivery, EVERYTHING arrived piping hot! We expected to reheat our food, but there was no need!
Now, let's talk about the FOOD, because this place knocked it out of the park!
The fried rice was seasoned perfectly, moist, and cooked just right. This has to be one of the BEST fried rice dishes I have ever had!
The Chicken Egg Foo Young 鸡蓉蛋 was delicious, with a perfect balance of egg, chicken, and vegetables. It came with MORE than enough gravy, too!
The D4. Coconut Shrimp 椰子虾 were noticeably larger than those from other restaurants. They were battered to perfection and coated in a sweet coconut sauce. I ate the entire order myself and refused to share! That says it all!
I ordered my husband the D6. Kung Pao Chicken 宫保鸡 with medium spice. As a total spice wimp, I barely noticed the heat. If you like a kick, order a higher spice level. The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and covered in a flavorful sauce. I also loved seeing MORE meat than vegetables!
The Pot Stickers were another home run! NOT your typical frozen dumplings, these were obviously homemade and were cooked beautifully, with the bottoms browned just right. The Shao Mai (6) 烧麦 dumplings were equally delicious, and even the dumplings in our soup tasted homemade!
It's not often I find a Chinese restaurant where I genuinely have NOTHING negative to say. Between the generous portions, incredible flavors, fresh preparation, and thoughtful packaging, this place exceeded our expectations!
We will 100% be ordering from here again! This is exactly the kind of restaurant that deserves repeat business!

• 9/28/26The D5. General Tso's Chicken 左宗鸡 and Cheese Rangoon (5) 炸馄饨 order that I get here frequently is my favorite in the area; I literally drive from Olympia to get this when I'm craving it. Best rangoons I've had in the state, personally. Portions of the General Tso's are huge and I've never been disappointed in the quality.
Everyone's taste is different but I've tried many different places trying to find a Chinese place that compares to my favorite restaurant on the East coast and Forbidden City is it.
