The prices are a little high for the portion sizes for the Side Legim and $16 for the Shrimp Pikliz. I made sure to take side view pictures of the containers.
The Griyo plate and the Akra appetizer are good.
Everything has nice flavor. It is lightly seasoned though, so on your first bite you might say it isn't seasoned well if you have had Haitian food before.
Everything that I received does taste good. It's just the portion sizes for the prices that I don't like.

I'm a little disappointed - id had at taste of griot elsewhere recently, and it was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and had a wonderful zesty citrusy flavor. This was crispy to the point of being dry all the way through and had little to no seasoning at all. The sauce that came with was also bland. Not what think of when ordering anything Caribbean. ?

Fritai is one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans, and I'm so glad that I was able to order from them on DoorDash! We got 2 of The Fritai Sandwich, one with chicken and one with pork. Both were delicious, but I recommend going with the pork if you're on the fence (I think it's the same style that they use in the griyo). I wish I could put pikliz on everything in my life.

Delicious! As a person of Haitian descent, I can say that the griot, rice, beans, macaroni and sauce were very good! My only issue is that they used bitter veggies for the legim. It tastes better with the traditional eggplant. Just some constructive feedback, but I'm happy with the meal!
