• 4/13/25I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gaby’s Mediterranean Cafe, a place I hadn’t visited in two years. Like many others, I’d noticed a decline in the quality of several restaurants since the challenges brought on by Covid, and sadly, Gaby’s had been among those that left me disappointed during my last few visits. However, a week ago, my friend and I decided to give it another chance, and I must say, we were more than pleasantly surprised—we were genuinely delighted!
I ordered the Kabob Combo, while my friend chose the Chicken Shawarma Plate, and let me tell you, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Gaby’s Mediterranean Cafe has not only bounced back but has surpassed its former glory. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that reminded me why I used to love this place so much. The kabobs were perfectly grilled, tender, and paired wonderfully with their signature garlic sauce, while my friend couldn’t stop raving about the savory chicken shawarma and the fresh, vibrant sides that came with it.
What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care for our dining experience made us feel so welcome—it was as if we were guests in their own home. It’s clear that the team at Gaby’s is passionate about what they do, and that passion shines through in every detail, from the beautifully prepared dishes to the smiles on their faces.
I left Gaby’s Mediterranean Cafe feeling uplifted and inspired by their remarkable turnaround. This is a place that truly deserves every bit of success and more, and I can’t wait to return to support such a wonderful establishment. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines outstanding food with heartfelt service, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Gaby’s—you won’t be disappointed!

• 5/4/25Gaby's has been my favourite Mediterranean food place for over 5 years now. But of late, I was disappointed with their food quality. But not any more. Gaby's has regained its past glory and their food is as delicious as before.
I absolutely love their Vegetarian Lentil Soup, Rotisserie chicken and their chicken fattoush salad. Probably the best mediterranean food in West LA!

• 7/7/26I have ordered from Gabby's many times and have for years. This order was not so great. I ordered the marinated chicken and the chicken was so spicy that I was unable to eat it. I also ordered the garlic sauce that was supposed to come with pita, but none of our orders came with any pita bread and the garlic sauce did not taste like it usually does. I'm very disappointed with Gaby's this time, as I said, we have been eating there for many many years.
