Unfortunately I expected more from a $50 steak. It was extremely dy, hard to cut, hard to chew and was cooked all the way through (and then some) even though I ordered it medium rare.

The filet literally smelled like dog poop so therefore was inedible, the scalloped potatoes were a lump of mush. The cookie was burnt. And this was all supposed to be a special treat

Putting gold flakes on a burger does not make it gourmet. It's just tacky.
