I always enjoy the food from Gangnam but today it was really outstanding! They appear the have a new cook and the Soon do boo was the best Ive ever had. Spiced perfectly, everything was chopped nicely into even chunks, even the small pieces of squid were scored to make them more tender. Banchan had the same great attention to detail. 10/10 ,

For the amount that the galbi cost, I was expecting much more portion wise. I accidentally bought 2x instead of one serving, and for $66, I got so little meat that I thought a joke was being played on me. The Squid & Pork bulgogi was a good portion, and justified its higher price, and the sides were all fresh and well made. the corn cheese was average, tasted like canned corn that wasn't drained (very watery, alot of liquid pooled in the container). Rice came with every dish on it's own, we didnt need to order a side of rice. all in all we spent 140 bucks pre-tax on a meal and felt like we got maybe 60 bucks worth of food.

kimchi A1. Pajun was bit bland for korean standard but it was good when we try with soy sauce. F1. Mul Naengmyeon is great portion. I would order again when I really want to eat Korean food next time

the B1. Soft Tofu Soup was very good with ham. I've tried it in a lot of different places and its usually bland but it was very good here. the cucumber salad was fresh/okay. I prefer mine with toasted seseme oil.

Consistently one of the best Korean restaurants. Their galibi and Korean fried chickens are superb!
