I love GEN Korean BBQ House. Unlike a lot of restaurants, their post lockdown prices are still reasonable. The food is EVERYTHING. I got the Pick 2 Meats (Fully Cooked) with Hawaiian bacon and Honey Chicken and you cannot go wrong with those. Well seasoned, well cooked. The steamed rice is perfect. The condiments are just a bow on top of the deliciousness, and now that you can buy extra on the side, it's even better. Kimchi - great. Potato Salad - excellent. Fermented Cucumber - so freaking tasty. And now they sell the Radish Paper to go too? 10/10 no notes. Can't wait to order again.

Both meats were put into a small container on top of each other. The chicken was bland and the short rib was overcooked with more fat than meat. Quality of the food has gone down over the years which is disappointing.

I got the regular and the Cajun pork belly. This is probably the third or fourth time that I've ordered pork belly from them and I don't know why I keep doing it. I love pork belly but this doesn't really have a lot of flavor. I usually have it marinated or with delicious dipping sauces. They do give you a sauce but overall it's just not as good as what I've had elsewhere. Maybe the experience is different in the restaurant. The other thing I wished for is better sides. The cucumbers are delicious, the kimchi ok but you don't get a lot of those. You do get a ton of rice and noodles. It's just plain rice. I'd rather switch the rice for more cucumbers. The japchae isn't bad. But better options would be potatoes, pancakes, eggplant or a tofu salad. But like I said maybe there are better options in the restaurant. Everything is packaged nicely and the portion sizes are generous but for delivery it's just okay. 4 Meats, 3 Sides, and Steamed Rice

Brisket it's torn in pieces, and not the regular serving. i didn't even notice the brisket was fair until I moved food around I order from here all the time. this is unacceptable.The star pretty much told me that between leaving the store, the food is right and between the driver to me, they can't be held responsible.

The main dishes like the brisket and spicy pork bulgogi were flavorful and satisfying, and the rice was fine. However, the potato salad side dish smelled really bad and didn’t seem fresh at all. It had a sour odor and a watery texture, which made it very unappetizing, so I couldn’t eat it. This was disappointing and affected my overall experience.
