• 1/15/26George’s hamburgers have become one of those simple joys in life that I genuinely look forward to. There’s something about that place that just feels real and honest the kind of food that reminds you why burgers became a classic in the first place. The flavors are unmatched, the portions are perfect, and everything just comes together in a way that makes you stop mid-bite and appreciate how good it is.
And then there’s George himself always kind, always welcoming, and somehow always remembering to hook us up with sauce. It’s such a small thing, but it says a lot about the kind of person he is and the kind of business he runs. You can tell he cares about his food and his customers, and that makes the experience even better.
I swear this place deserves to be packed 24/7 because nothing else in Walnut Creek even compares. If you haven’t tried it yet, go seriously. Treat yourself. It’s one of the best parts of this town and it deserves all the love

• 4/14/24If you want a great hamburger this place is not it. Bacon was dry, onion rings were average and the meat was bland. For the price and quality there are better options at other restaurants that are much tastier.

• 11/13/22The bacon cheeseburger was cooked correctly and had just what I asked on it. The Chicken Teriyaki over rice was a full plate of flavor. The Grilled Cheese was delicious and the crinkle cut French Fries had the right amount of crispness.
