best breakfast , friendliest staff, and still the best donuts in the parish! just as delicious as when I was a kid!!

I had to go to the store to buy eggs to put on my bacon egg and cheese croissant. Almost 10 dollars for 3 pieces of bacon a shingle of cheese and a croissant. Hash browns are horribly over cooked it's more of a mashed potato casserole for 5$ first time customer won't ever return

I order a regular cheeseburger (madi patty) they are supposedly "sold out" . Instead of calling to see what I'd like to do they sub it out & up-charge ....without any notice of them doing so. How are you sold out of a cheeseburger but send me just a more expensive cheeseburger !??!? Not ok.
With all that said, Gerald's is always delicious food; just not happy with how they handled this transaction. If you are going to sub something out because your sold out of something but didn't advertise that, you should not ever upcharge someone WITH NO NOTICE Especially.

My son ordered the DOWN THE ROAD PLATTER he said it was very good. I ordered the 3 EGG PLATTER with wheat toast but I got a biscuit instead the food was good. I would have given 5 stars but they forgot to give me my glazed GLAZED DONUT that I ordered and paid for but everything else was good. I will still order from here again hopefully I'll get my donut next time.

The donuts have a strange taste like never before! Not good at all! Very disappointed because it's my husband's birthday &this is what he wanted. After paying almost $24 for a dozen donuts and only 2 we're not even half eaten, that's a huge let down. The eggs were over cooked,ordered over medium and the were over hard to the point of brown, my biscuit was raw. Total disappointment.. paid $63 for a breakfast plate and a dozen donuts with an extra side of grits!! Can't wrap my head around how everything could be SO BAD... NOT HAPPY!
