As someone who is from NYC, I've been fooled many times in Colorado by "NY style bagels" (spoiler: 95% aren't and suck). BUT HOLD YOUR HORSES BC GIBS IS GREAT! Tried for the first time today and I liked everything! Scallion cream cheese is yummy, bagels are very close to NYC/LI (still a bit chewier), and the breakfast sandwich was dank! Give 'em a try especially if you're a transplant :D (PS coffee was just okay BUT every bagel shop in Ny makes equal or worse coffee so I take it)

The blueberry bagel was awesome and they do not skimp on the cream cheese! Also they're the only place that offers lightly toasted and makes it lightly toasted. And the coffee is perfect.

Bagel Breakfast Sandwich was delicious, had a bacon, egg, and cheese. Got some Hot Chocolate that also really hit the spot.

Last couple times ive gotten any bagels with the garlic, even marking it lightly toasted, it's been burned.  Making the blackened garlic unpalatable. The bagels are also very hard and stale now, like im getting yesterday bagels.

Gib's is hands down the best bagels in town. I've been getting their bagels for 25 years since I was a little kid & my dad would get them for us almost every Sunday. Now I'm continuing the tradition with my kids. You really can't go wrong, but our favorites are the everything bagel and chocolate chip bagel with plain or honey cream cheese.
