I ordered from the 3rd St location for a friend. This new location is just as friendly and helpful as the one on Washington Blvd! Has all the same great flavors, great service, and distinctive yellow chairs! By far the best ice cream in the area. I highly recommend the fruity flavors and the vanillas.

Fresh Mint Chip is the real deal, using fresh mint leaves and not peppermint syrup. Peppermint syrup is fine and likely the only way you've tried Mint Chip ice creams, but the fresh herb is a rare treat and worth trying when you can find it. Vegan Lavender Burnt Sugar sounded like a glove in hand situation but while nothing was wrong, nothing was memorable. Ate that whole jar and you're never aware of it while you're eating it, nor can remember it afterward. Pickled Strawberry and Blueberry Pie sounded god-awful but was a blissful mess of excellent fruit pies and even more excellent crust crammed into a jar with with the ice cream that was served atop it. Outstanding. Proper crusted fruit pie. These ice creams arrive in heavy glass jars with metal lids. Need a little warm water run over them to open, cause a frozen glass jar is cold af to hold and the metal lid needs to be liberated. It will take a little extra effort to twist the lid off. But the packaging is outstanding. How ice cream should be presented.

Ginger's is always good! Service was great too. Banana Chip wasn't listed here, so we called to ask if they had it. They did! Had us order a different flavor and included Banana Chip instead. I've had Root Beer Float flavor in the past - that one is too good.

I was disappointed with Panna Cotta Panna Cotta Raspberry . It barely had any blended raspberries as promoted in the description. It's like eating heavy sweet cream. :( I was very excited to try this flavor, but this one was definitely did not match the description of the ice cream. Bummed.
