IF YOU ARE QUESTIONING IF YOU SHOULD ORDER OR NOT, DON'T EVENTHINK ABOUT IT- ORDER! I was weary about the fact that this was a virtual brand I hadnt seen before but ittruly is delicious. Both the gyu don and the mentaiko udon were flavorful, hearty and delicious, especially for these prices. No skimping on meat, sauces, or accoutrements. 10/10, will 100% be ordering from here again.

I ordered the Curry Katsu Don カレーカツ丼 This was the first time that I had Japanese curry with pickles inside of the curry. So the slight vinegar taste was a little different than I expected but it was still good! The serving size is great too, so you definitely get your money's worth . The 5 Pieces Chicken Kara-age チキン唐揚げ５ケ was delicious and fresh!

This is my new favorite udon spot! I really like their creamy Creamy Mentaiko Udon クリーミー明太子うどん! sorry, I remembered to take the photo after I started eating. ( personally, I think it tastes way better than the other creamy udon spot in san francisco.) The Nikutama Udon 肉玉うどん is a great portion and is delicious too.

The Baked Creamy Mentaiko Udon クリーミー明太子うどんのオーブン焼き is great, like nearly everything else on their menu. It's my first time trying it. It is a nice change, and very tasty—but I think if you want the mentaiko cream sauce it's better with the regular udon, and if you want a baked dish that works better with one of the curries.
The portion isn't huge (their baked dishes seem smaller than the regular bowls in general), but it's still very filling. The price is decent for San Francisco. And they made it pretty quickly, and packaged it perfectly. Basically, nothing at all to complain about.
So, I will definitely order from Ginto again, but probably not this dish. But again, that's not because it wasn't tasty, just because other things on their menu are even better.

I ordered the Oyako Udon 親子うどん with curry add on and let me say this:
Noodles - cooked just right. Chewy and delicious
Soup - sweet and savory at the same time. Paired with the udon, get out of town!
The highlight - the egg!!!
Portion: for a regular person perfect! For someone who's had bariatric surgery - 4 meals!!
I'd order from here anytime I feel like I need comfort. Hubby was also happy with his order!
