Chinese food, especially Won Ton soup is my go to when I'm sick and once I moved to Quesnel, I had to find my new place. Golden Bamboo is that place. I've yet to order something I didn't like and their Won Ton soup is magical and has healing powers.

One time, this restaurant was closed, and I tried to expand my horizon and go to another Chinese food restaurant, and it only made me appreciate Golden Bamboo even more. The Chicken Fried Rice is always so BANGING, the chicken is so moist and the rice and peas tastes amazing. You get so much for the price and the quality never waivers. The Deep-Fried Prawns are really good too, the batter they use makes it both crunchy and fluffy, its my favorite. Golden Bamboo has my loyalty for LIFE.

2, 17 dollar soups, filled with what seems like ramen noodles from a package.with 5 wontons ontop each and a few sad pieces of veg. Worst wonton soup I have had in town. Will always go to dragon gate or kakolots from now on.

Combo #11 was 3$ more to have ginger beef vs Sweet and sour pork. There was only 6 pieces of ginger beef in the whole container, was mostly noodles/broccoli.
