Drove from the restaurant back home to Indianola, which is a 38 minute drive and our food was STILL HOT! Very fresh and flavorful ingredients. My husband said the breading on the Chicken Wings was spot on. He drooled over the Pinto Beans, Red Beans and Rice, and Collard Greens. He is originally from Mobile, Alabama and said the food reminded him of his childhood. My Catfish, Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans, Corn Bread and Peach Cobbler were also all absolute perfection. Ate everything up so quick, we forgot to take pictures. We will definitely be back again, as this was our first time trying, and it was a hit for us!

The Catfish and Chicken Strips are wonderful and perfectly breaded and fried. Also the portions are very generous. I made two meals out of the Chicken Strips. The Collard Greens are also excellent. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

The 2 Meat Combo is a great deal as it comes with enough food to feed people. The food itself is also really good! The options for Soul Food in Iowa are slim to none, so the fact that this one hits it out the park is amazing.

The fish was amazing. The fish was seasoned well. The chicken could use more seasoning on in either on the chicken or in the batter before it's fried. The Collard Greens with Turkey, macaroni and cheese, and the yams was good. I was not a fan of the Peach Cobbler I would not order it again. The Corn Bread taste like jiffy. The Portions were satisfying.

The Catfish is cooked to perfection. The collard greens and spaghetti are great as well. 10/10 highly recommended
