• 5/30/23I ordered the large browned stew chicken and I am PLEASED that a large is actually a large portion. Other places around here will just fill the container with rice and peas and the amount of chicken for a regular order. Only ate 1/4 of it because it's so much food. & it tastes awesome!! My neighbors downstate were Jamaican and it has been hard to find good Caribbean food around here but this place is *chef's kiss*

• 5/15/25I literally got 2 TWO pieces of oxtail for $28 dollars. No utensils or napkins in bag. I was at work and had to go borrow a fork to eat. The taste is good but for the price it's not worth the poor service.

• 12/3/25Hands down the best oxtail dinner in the capital region and I've nearly tried them all! Portions are always decent and the meat is flavorful. Everything is cooked to perfection. It's my go-to when they're open and when I want to splurge a bit.

• 10/20/24Jerk wings are always my Favorite! Coconut rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The greens were too soft and lacking flavor and had too much liquid in the container. 5 stars because I LOVE the jerk chicken I won't get it from anyplace else

• 10/8/24The food is hit or miss. The first timeI had it it was great. I've had the rice today is hard and stuck together and has an after taste like it's old and scrapped from the bottom of the pot. Another day I had the rice and it was hard all throughout, I could not enjoy my food. I also had the pasta once and it was over cooked and soft, when it was good in the past. This food is too expensive not to be right EVERY time. Maybe they're rushing. When the food is good it's GREAT, but when its undercooked, undercooked mushy or hard it take away from the experience. The meat is excellent every time, although they should give you more gravy for the amount of rice they give you. Overall, meat is great, the rice and pasta need more work, and they don't give you enough gravy for the rice. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not.
