• 3/12/26Gourmet Oriental never disappoints. It is a gem in West Ventura at the south end of Ventura Avenue. The portions are always generous. The food arrives fresh and warm. This is our favorite place to order 17. Beef Rice Noodle. It is simple, authentic, and made perfectly every time. We tried the Pork shu mai (8pcs) for the first time today. We will DEFINITELY be ordering those again. Everyone in the family agrees they are delicious and the best that we have found in Ventura County!

• 10/15/24Wanted to retry this place as i havent had it for a few years. The dumplings are just factory made pre frozen and tasteless rubbery disasters. As with the bbq pork fried rice, tasted like it was from either a box or just a frozen mix with absolutely no flavor. Again highly disappointed.
Anyone who actually enjoys real chinese food this is not the place for you

• 7/24/24The Kon Pao 15. Kon Pao Chicken was not tasty at all. A little sweet and peanut. Just very disappointing. Dumplings were fine but nothing to write home about. The 2. Mongolian Beef was fine. The best in the order but still under flavored.
