First order with this restaurant. One of the best pot roast dinners I have had. I couldn't believe how tender the roast was..and it was a nice serving. the mashed potatoes are great and even had a few small lumps of potato and flavored perfectly..these are real home made mashed potatos. I ordered a side of asparagus and they were buttered and delicious! If I had any issue it would be to add more of the delicious sauce to the roast. Great dinner! the salmon was overcooked and smelled extra fishy. very disappointed based on many previous orders.
also the meatloaf has a huge piece of bread (never has before) that took up more space and made the meatloaf portion smaller.

I didn't really like this Alfredo. It had a very mild taste, almost watery, not at all cheesy. It did have a good amount of sauce though. I'm fairly certain it was topped with cilantro and not parsley. The chicken was juicy - not overcooked with not much gristle. I really liked the garlic bread. I did not get the silverware I requested.

Normally I really like Granite City and have had good experiences, but not with this order. The chicken tortilla soup was missing the side of cheese and sour cream. And the avocado grilled sandwich was missing the side of crinkle cut fries and was only half cooked. The bread was so lightly toasted as to not really be toasted and there was no butter. The cheese was still in shredded form, not melted. Rather sorry experience for $45 (including tip).

The 16 dollar Ceasars salad was the size of a 4.99 side salad from any other restaurant. The chicken Alfredo is completely flavorless.
