What began as a family recipe has expanded to over eight Granny's Tamales locations around the United States, all of which are owned by Gonzalez family members.
Juanita Gonzalez, the "original" Granny…
These are some bomb tamales for real. Smooth, moist, full of flavor. Just need these and cold beer and you're set. We keep coming back

I used to love this place but over the years, the prices have increased while the size of each tamales decrease. They are itty bitty with little to no meat inside. My opinion- a dozen is not even family shareable. Also some of my tamales was mushy and not all the way cooked. This will be my last time ordering from here sadly.

The Mexican Sugar Cookies were both stale (week old?) and burned. The Regular Pork & Beef tamales were made with spoiled or old masa. When unwrapped the tamales were dry and brown and looked like a turd (see photo). The Spicy Pork & Beef tamales were ok prep wise (worth a star) but certainly not the best tamales around. You'd be better off buying from the abuelitas selling tamales out of coolers in the auto parts store parking lot. They are a bit stingy with the salsas I was very disappointed with my first experience.

The flavor is still good, but the quality is inconsistent. I got Jalapeño & Cheese Regular Pork & Beef. The price went up, but a lot of my tamales were smaller than what they sold last year. There were a few normal sized ones, but mostly thin ones with more masa than meat. They left out the Mexican Sugar Cookies I ordered and I had to request a refund on the Doordash app.

My tamales Harriet had any meat inside and to much of the masa... I couldn't even take the chicken, very bland and I feel I wasted $20
