Gregg's a great family restaurant. Large with plenty of seating to accommodate many people. Gregg's do have holiday meals. Conveniently open on Sundays. Gregg's are known far and wide for their desserts. I don't believe I've ever been disappointed with a dessert from Greg's restaurant.
Once a month or so I order dessert via DoorDash. A treat that never disappoints.
A slice of cake is a huge event. Literally.
Arguably plenty for two people.
Another fan favorite is their monster size eclair.... amazing!
Don't forget to try the death by chocolate cake!
Oh gosh! I could go on and on... ... ....

Food was good but they did not close the soup container and it spilled all over everything. We were able to salvage most of it but it did make quite a mess. This was Not our delivery persons fault. He was great and everything in the bag was upright. Also we understand that prices have gone up, but they've raised their prices a lot and made the portions smaller. They also charge for rolls and pickles, and the prices for them are ridiculous. It's sad, Greg's is a RI institution, but they're not half the restaurant they used to be. Food is still good, but it's not worth the price.

The Turkey Dinner while fairly good the turkey portion should have been double what itwas for just about $20. It was 3 small pieces, maybe 2 ounces total then a giant pile of mashed potatoes, mashed what I assume was sweet potatoes, and a tiny serving of stuffing think like two tablespoons. Like I said though, the flavor was good just to small of a turkey portion

I have order the Combination Platter (appetizers) before and loved it. Today, while the other appetizers in the box were fine, the potato skins were burned and dumped on top of everything else. Not at all what I'm used to from Gregg's.

layer cakes suffering ;
weird lower quality smidgens of frosting, something more akin to a crumb coat/base coat ?!
broken layers!
( whch fell apart and off the teeny paper plates, onto the floor , while of being removed from the box.)
pretty awful birthday slices overall.
lost half a slice !
eclair still THE BEST.
doordash delivery as always was impeccable.
