Ordered the Grilled Liempo Combo Meal, and the portion was good for the price. I also ordered the 8 oz. Ginataang Monggo, but received the maiz/corn, instead. It wasn’t a huge deal, but I was really craving the monggo, so I was a little disappointed. 😕
The 1-piece Footlong Turon was okay. Overall, the food was decent, although I didn’t have very high expectations regarding the quality.
I do think Grill City could improve its food presentation. Filipino cuisine has so much to offer, and presenting it in a more appealing and engaging way could make it more inviting to those who are trying Filipino food for the first time. We have so much to be proud of when it comes to our food and culture, and those directly involved in representing Filipino cuisine should embrace that culture and take it seriously.
We should be proud of how our food looks and tastes. Good presentation can make a big difference in creating a memorable experience and encouraging others to appreciate and explore Filipino cuisine.
I always have mixed feelings about coming back because the experience can be a bit of a hit-or-miss. I just wish the quality and presentation were more consistent.

Having been raised in the Philippines, their Bibingka doesn't even come close to what it should taste like; very disappointing. Also, I expected a sour calamansi juice but there was just a hint of sourness, like waterdown. If you charge 3.99 for a small glass, at least put more calamansi in there.

2 (Dinuguan and Munggo)of the choices in their menu are not available. Instead of calling the customer, my orders were replaced by other items that I dont even want because I cant eat them. One is even spicy. No one in our household can eat the spicy dish with coconut milk. They need to reimburse for 2 second items.
Pancit is ok (mostly noodles,significant lack of veggies and other ingredients), Pork BBQ and Liempo are tasty.

the food didn't look at all the the photo, I assumed that the meat would arrive skewered, instead I received a slab of Grilled Pork. The Steamed Rice that came with it was almost melted together and tasted a bit mushy.

update from previous review, asides from missing/wrong items, there's eggshells in the sunny fried egg. Rice is a bit soggy. The "soup" is the sauce cup is too salty to be soup but I don't see any item that needs such a clear sauce. First time ordered here and not a good impression.
